Oh, the weather outside is frightful. It’s time to create some warmth in the kitchen.
Mittens and scarves aren’t the only providers of warmth this time of year. We have the stove, the oven, and the microwave, too. Anything to warm your spirit and soul—whatever will take off the chill is allowed when the temperature drops below zero.
Soups, stews, and casseroles—just like firewood—serve double duty. They warm up the kitchen during your prep time, and they warm your body when you eat them.
And, yes, of course, you can cook in your thick wool socks and your flannel PJs!
